Warren Central-Clinton baseball game moved to Thursday
Because of the threat of rain on Friday night, the Region 4-6A showdown between Clinton and Warren Central has been moved up one day. The teams will now play Thursday at 7 p.m. at Warren Central’s Viking Field.
The Vikings and Arrows split their first two meetings this season and both have clinched berths in the MHSAA Class 6A playoffs. The winner of Friday’s game will win the Region 4-6A championship and earn a first-round bye in the state playoffs. The loser will finish second in the region and play Oxford, Tupelo or South Panola in the first round next week.
