Funeral services for Zebedee Baker will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 12 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with The Rev. Joseph Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be said Thursday at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m.

Mr. Baker passed away on Saturday, April 6, at Merit Health Central Mississippi following a lengthy illness.  He was 64.

He had worked for the Anderson-Tully Lumber Mill.

He was preceded in death by his father, Columbus Baker; his mother, Marie Cain Ross; his brother, George Baker; and his sister, Gerry Ann Cain.

He is survived by his wife, Everline Baker of Vicksburg; his son, Zebedee Baker, Jr. of Vicksburg; his two daughters, Yakesha Marie Baker of Vicksburg and Artimese L. Maruso of Toronto, Canada; a brother, Zebedee Baker of Vicksburg; and a sister, Marie Rolling also of Vicksburg; and five grandchildren.
