Parsha Powell

Parsha Powell of Vicksburg, a retiree of Sears, died April 22, 2019, at Ochsner Medical Center, Baton Rouge Louisiana.

Parsha was a native of Peoria Illinois, the daughter of the late Clarence P. Denfrio of Chicago Illinois, and Celia Brantley of Walnut Grove. She was a member of Bowmar Ave. Baptist Church.

Parsha is preceded in death by her husband, David Powell; her parents; and brother, James P. Brantley of Madison.

She is survived by a daughter, Daphne Caldwell of Baton Rouge Louisiana; and two grandsons, Bill Caldwell III (Casey), and David Caldwell of Houston Texas; two grandchildren, Olivia and William, sister-in-law, Brenda Brantley; and nephew Jay Brantley, both of Madison, and Lisa Workman of Virginia.

Funeral Services are at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home on Friday April 26, at 1 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Greenlawn Gardens.

Visitation will be from noon until the hour of the service. The Rev. Paul Lee will officiate.

Pallbearers are Bill Caldwell III, David Caldwell, Jay Brantley, Martin Randall, Neal Randall, and Mike Randall.
