Funeral services for David O’Neal are to be held on Saturday, May 25, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Dellie C. Robinson officiating; interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. 

There will be a visitation held on Friday, May 24 in the funeral home from 6-7 p.m.

O’Neal passed away on Wednesday, May 15, in the Merit Health Central Mississippi Medical Center following a brief illness. He was 61. He was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father David Hamlin, mother Minnie Littleton and a daughter Lamika O’Neal,

He is survived by his two sons, David O’Neal and Don Hagen, both of Vicksburg; his three daughters, Monica Lewis and Shalena Hagen of Vicksburg, and Lashonda Williams of Jackson; his brothers Dennis Littleton of Vicksburg, Darrell Woodard of Port Gibson and Calvin Woodard of Pattison; his four sisters Leannie Canda and Carolyn Hamlin of Vicksburg, Georgia Kelly of Port Gibson and Linda Conner of Memphis, and 12 grandchildren.
