Hundreds of Warren County customers without power

The outage affected customers down Halls Ferry Road, Cain Ridge Road, Old Cain Ridge Road and U.S. 61 South. Customers in the Bazinsky Road area were also affected.

Entergy said the estimated time for power to be restored is 9 a.m.

 

**UPDATE: It appears a large number of those customers down Highway 27 that were without power have had their service restored. At 10 p.m., the number of reported outages in Warren County had been nearly 700. At 10:10 p.m., that number had plummeted to below 300.

 

Nearly 1,000 Entergy customers in Mississippi are being reported without power this evening. Of those, nearly 700 are residents of Warren County.

As of 10 p.m., 689 customers in Warren County were without power, with a bulk of those homes located on Highway 27, south of Warren Central High School and down Warriors Trail, Stenson Road and Mt. Alban Road.

There are reports the outage along Highway 27 has been caused by tree limbs knocking down lines. Crews are also working to make repairs.
