One more suspect from melee surrenders to authorities

Vicksburg Police have arrested another suspect in a reported Aug. 5 fight that occurred at an area near LD’s Lounge.
Lt. Johnnie Edwards, with the Vicksburg Police Department, said Agnas Christin Martin, 24, was arrested Friday night. She faces a charge of disorderly conduct in connection with the melee.
Three other women, Tamekia Marie Martin, 29; Mykiha Marshay Wells, 25; and Tiesha Nishel Martin, 23; turned themselves into police Aug. 8, and face misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct in the fight.
Police are continuing their search for Jessica Williams, Jamesha Montgomery, Melissa Williams, Jonsherricca McClendon and Jonuala McClendon, who remain at large.
According to police reports, the fight occurred about 2:02 a.m. Aug. 3 when an argument developed between two women as they were leaving LD’s and later escalated into a fight. No injuries and no property damage were reported.
Owner of LD’s, L.D. Prentiss, said the fight did not occur in the business.
In other cases:
- Robert Earl Williams, 40, 2519 Washington St., was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute after police found 160 tablets of hydrocodone during a traffic stop on Washington Street for a seatbelt violation. Williams was a passenger in the car. The driver was not charged. Williams was in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond.
- Two gold rings, a gold cross and three rifles were reported taken about 11:56 p.m. Sunday from a home in the 1300 block of Bay Street.
- A purse, $60 and keys were reported taken about 2:33 a.m. from a Mercedes parked at Fisher Funeral Home, 1837 Cherry St. The purse was later found.
- About $275 was reported taken about 1:21 p.m. from a car parked in the 1300 block of Grove Street.
