A weekly recap of the performances of college football and NFL players from Vicksburg-area high schools.

• Middle Tennessee cornerback Chris Stamps (Warren Central) had three tackles in a 34-20 loss to Charlotte.

• Southeast Missouri State defensive lineman Josh Price (St. Aloysius) had two tackles, including one-half tackle for loss, in a 32-13 victory over Tennessee State.

• Ole Miss offensive lineman Ben Brown (St. Aloysius) started his 21st consecutive game in a 20-14 loss to No. 11 Auburn.

• Tulane linebacker Nick Anderson (Vicksburg High) played, but did not have a tackle, in a 38-26 win over Tulsa.

• Tennessee Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler (Vicksburg High) did not record a tackle, but was credited with two pass defenses in a 30-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers.
