JV basketball report
(B) Vicksburg 50, Germantown 39 – Barry Dillon scored 16 points to lead Vicksburg’s ninth-grade boys team to a win over Germantown on Monday. The Gators improved to 4-2. The ninth-grade girls also won, 41-39 over Germantown, to remain undefeated with a 5-0 record.

(G) East Rankin 42, St. Aloysius 24 – Falyn Lusby scored nine points, all in the fourth quarter, but St. Aloysius’ junior high team lost to East Rankin Academy on Tuesday. Madi Mathews scored six points for St. Al, while Abigail Stevens had a game-high 14 for East Rankin.

Adult basketball league
Registration for the Vicksburg Parks and Recreation Department’s men’s and women’s adult basketball leagues will continue through Dec. 31. The registration fees are $125 per team, plus $5 for each non-city resident, with the total not to exceed $175. Registration packets can be picked up at the Parks And Rec office at 100 Army Navy Drive or the Jackson Street Community Center.

VWAA baseball registration
The Vicksburg Warren Athletic Association has opened registration for its 2020 spring youth baseball season. All games will be played at Sports Force Parks on the Mississippi. Online registration is available at vwaabaseball.org. The registration fee is $75 per player, but coaches are eligible for a $25 discount for their child. USM baseball camp
The Southern Miss baseball program will host its Thanksgiving Break Kids Camp on Nov. 25 and 26 at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field in Hattiesburg. The camp is for children in grades K-8 and will run from 9 a.m. to noon each day. Registration is set for 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 25.

The camp will teach baseball fundamentals and allow boys and girls to work with Southern Miss players and coaches. The cost is $100.

Winter Baseball League
Sports Force Parks on the Mississippi will host its inaugural Winter Baseball League Nov. 30 to Dec. 22.

The league is open to players ages 7 to high school, and is for individual players and not teams. The cost is $300 per player and there is a nine-game guarantee. No tryouts are necessary, but players should provide their own equipment such as gloves and cleats.
