Two purses, cellular phones and more than $800 were reported taken Friday from a Toyota Camry parked in the 3300 block of Wisconsin Avenue.

In other cases:

• Shots were reported fired Sunday in the 2700 block of Alcorn Drive. Officers responding found no suspicious activity and no evidence of shots being fired.

• Shots were reported fired Saturday in the area of Farmer Street and Maulding Drive. Officers responding found no sign of suspicious activity and no evidence of shots being fired.

• Shots were reported fired Thursday in the area of Elizabeth Circle and Alcorn Drive. Officers responding to the call found no suspicious activity and no evidence of shots being fired.

• A car sound system valued at $4,000 was reported taken Wednesday from a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe parked in the 1200 block of Price Street.
