Michael Steven Barham, 37, 91 Sprout Springs Road, Vicksburg, was arrested Wednesday on a misdemeanor warrant.

Officers found approximately .36 grams of methamphetamines at the time of his arrest. Barham was scheduled to face Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court Tuesday.

• Tuesday, officers responded to Drusilla Lane and Fisher Ferry Road in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found no signs of suspicious activity and no evidence of shots fired.

• Tuesday, officers responded to Merit Health River Region, 2100 Highway 61 North, in reference to an assault that occurred in the 700 block of Poplar Street. The complainant reported her boyfriend had been assaulted. The victim suffered lacerations to the top and back of his head.
