MUSKEGON, Mich. — At the age of 90, Genora Hill Jr., formerly of Learned, acknowledged the Lord’s calling on Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, in Muskegon, Mich.

He was preceded in death by three sons; his parents, Genora Hill Sr. and Mamie Burks Hill; five brothers and two sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loyal and devoted wife, Eunice Watson Hill; two daughters, Jeanette Hill Pendelton of Muskegon and Eugenia (Lamont) Brown of Atlanta, Ga.; two sisters, Thenora Hill Beard and Doris P. Anderson, both of Vicksburg; a brother, James (Savannah) Hill of Monticello; in-laws, Jannie B. Hill of Buffalo, N.Y., Naomi Charleston of Grand Rapids, Mich., Rosie Marshall and Frankie Robinson of Aurora, Ill., Jessie Seals of Omaha, Neb., and Isaac (Jean) Watson of Aurora, Ill.; the Hill, Stewart and Burks families; a host of godchildren and friends.

Genora’s service was held on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Greater Harvest M. B. Church, Muskegon Heights, Mich.

Arrangements were entrusted to Divinity Funeral Home and Chapel, Muskegon Heights, Mich.
