George Earl Rader died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2020, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 73.

A native of Chester, Ill., George was the son of the late George and Sylvia Neihouse Rader.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of E4, corporal.

He was a retired truck driver.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Thomas and Sharon Ramsey; and two brothers, Wib Rader and Charles Rader.

He is survived by two sisters, Della Word of Vicksburg and Wanda Thornton of Marissa, Ill.; and a brother, Russell Rader of Chester, Ill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
