Funeral services for Katheryne “Lil Mama” Brown will be Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnny Williams officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m.

Mrs. Brown passed away Monday, Feb. 3, after a lengthy illness. She was 62.

She worked as a home healthcare sitter and was a member of the Rock of Ages M. B. Church, American Legion Tyner Ford Post 213 Women’s Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Doyle Jones; her brothers, James Mann and Robert Earl Jones; and her husband Jerlone Brown

She is survived by her son, Larry Brown of Vicksburg; a daughter-in-law and four grandchildren.
