Dan Sumrall

Dan Sumrall died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at his home. He was 89.

A native of Holly Bluff, Dan had made his home in Vicksburg since 1965, where he retired from the Westinghouse Corp. after 30 years of service.

He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Dan is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mildred; his daughter, Peggy (Scott) Partridge; his son, Danny Leon (Rena) Sumrall all of Vicksburg; his six grandchildren, Thomas (Cathy) Middleton, Matt (Jamie) Middleton, Amy (Brian) Brown, Russell (Lindsey) Sumrall, Brooke (Hunter) Herrington and Sarah Beth (Justin) Wooten; 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, in the chapel of Glenwood Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Banes officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Middleton, Matt Middleton, Russell Sumrall, Brian Brown, Hunter Herrington and Justin Wooten.
