Funeral services for Delores Ann Hemphill will be Friday, Feb. 14, at Jackson Street M. B. Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Trollars Moore officiating.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of W.H Jefferson Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 13, at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m., with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority holding its ceremony at 6 p.m.

Delores Ann Hemphill passed away Friday, Feb. 7 at her home after a brief illness.  She was 76.

She was retired from Bell South and a member of   She was a member of the Jackson Street M. B. Church. She was a 1960 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School and attended Alcorn State University. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,  Alcorn Alumni and the NAACP.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert T. and Lee Willa Miller; her brother Ernest Jackson; and her sisters Roberta Jordan and Coratha Perkins.

She is survived by her daughter Leah Sullivan of Vicksburg; her two sisters, Beverly Jean Gaskin and Pearlina Williams, both of Vicksburg; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
