Hinds Community College pitcher Caleb Sterling, a former Warren Central star, pitched one perfect inning Friday in a 3-2 win over Frontier CC to earn his first college victory.

Hinds will play Baton Rouge Community College in a doubleheader Wednesday at Sports Force Parks on the Mississippi. The first game will begin at 2:30 p.m., and the second at 5:30.
