Vicksburg police chief catches juvenile sought by authorities

A 16-year-old teenager wanted by police for possession of a firearm is in custody.
Vicksburg Police Department spokesman Capt. Mike Bryant said the teen, who was not identified because of his age, slipped from police custody Feb. 12. Police Chief Milton Moore saw him Monday on Monroe Street and took him into custody.
The teen was referred to the Warren County Youth Detention Center.
