Mr. James “Eat” Knight passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Zelda Knight; three brothers, Mancy Knight, Charles Knight and John Henry Knight; one adopted brother, John Jefferson.

He is survived by a daughter, Jamille Smith of Gardena California; son, Kiev Knight of Augusta, Ga.; three sisters, Carrie K. Williams of Vicksburg, Deloris K. Singleton of Columbus and Zelda K. Stanley of Greenwood; five brothers, Thomas (Tee) Knight of Greenville, Texas, George (Bone) Knight of Inglewood Calif., Marion (Suge) Knight, Costello Knight and Richard Knight all of Los Angeles; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday followed by burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lakeview Memorial

Visitation will be held on Friday from 1-6 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.
