Billy Wayne Pagan Jr.

Billy Wayne Pagan Jr. died Sunday, April 19, 2020, at the Bluffs in Vicksburg. He was 53.

Born in Vicksburg, he was the beloved son of Margaret Pagan and the late Billy Wayne Pagan Sr.

He was a graduate of Warren Central High School, where he was a member of the Big Blue Band. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church.

He was a longtime employee of Temperature Control Specialist, Hermetic Rush and Vicksburg Heating and cooling as a technician. He enjoyed woodworking and metalwork. He loved making birdhouses and mailboxes for his friends and family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David L. Pagan and Gavin Wayne Pagan; a sister, Patricia Cunningham; his maternal grandparents, John and Mary Boone; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Goings; a niece, a nephew; and numerous cousins.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Pagan; a son, Dustin Pagan; two daughters, Victoria McLeod (Brennan) of El Paso, Texas; and Cassandra “Cassie” Bufkin (Justin) of Dublin, Ohio; a brother, Randy Pagan of Ukiah, Calif.; and numerous aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; and best friends Jimmy, Jamie, Paul, Wayne, Craig, and others.

A private graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2020, at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home. The Rev. Tiana Rabearison of Vicksburg Seventh Day Adventist Church will officiate.
