Another one-day record set in confirmed COVID-19 cases for Warren County

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Warren County grew by eight overnight, setting the record for one-day increases during this virus outbreak.
As of Tuesday, Warren County now reports 58 total cases.
Overall, the Mississippi State Department of Health reported 248 new cases in the state, bringing the total number of cases to 6,342. The number of virus-related deaths in the state increased by 10 overnight to 239.
Claiborne County continues to show 19 cases, while Sharkey County has five cases.
In Yazoo County, the number of confirmed cases now stands at 129. In Hinds, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases grew to 435 overall.
In just over a week, the number of confirmed cases in Warren County has doubled. On April 21, the number of confirmed cases stood at 25.
While the number of confirmed cases has jumped significantly, the number of virus-related deaths in Warren County has remained at two since April 20.
