Estelle Phillips Stegall, 81, of Crystal Springs was born May 7, 1939, and died Thursday, May 7, 2020.

She is survived by her daughters, Sue Worrell McCool (Randall) of Vicksburg and Melody Worrell of Crystal Springs; son, John Stegall of Wesson; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Sue Williams of Copperas Cove, Texas; brother, Arthur Phillips (Marita) of Pontotoc, and her faithful best friend, Freckles.

A Scott County native, she was a 1957 graduate of Morton High School. She worked at Waterways Experiment Station, first at its original location in Clinton and then in Vicksburg, primarily in the Structures (Concrete) Laboratory. She was active in the Gideons International Auxiliary.

A private family service will be held on May 12, 2020. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
