Cecil Hunt Knight, of Brandon, Fla., passed away on May 6, 2020, in Brandon. He was 85. 

Cecil was born in Clarksville, Tenn, in 1934. He traveled the world with the U.S. Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Scott Knight, a native of Vicksburg; sister, Dorothy Siegel; daughter, Rebecca Rausch; son, Todd (Dori) Sullivan; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Irene Lancaster Knight; son, Rick Sullivan and several siblings. 

Graveside service will be Saturday, May 16, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Vicksburg under the direction of Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.
