Robert Henry “Bill” Tolliver

Robert Henry “Bill” Tolliver passed away on May 13, 2020, at Merit Health River Region. He was 70. Bill is the son of the late Charlie and Mary Harris Tolliver. He was born on Jan. 11, 1950, in Vicksburg. He was the second oldest of three other siblings. Bill graduated from Temple High School and Mississippi Valley State University. He worked many years at Sears.

He served as Deacon at Old Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, Mount Hebron Missionary Baptist Church and Belmont Missionary Baptist Church.

Those saddened by his earthly departure are a devoted wife, Lorene Cross Tolliver; one dedicated daughter, Dr. Lameka (Kawmi) Fisher; one dedicated son, Dr. Lacedric Tolliver; one loveable grandson Kameron Logan Fisher; three brothers, Charlie (Barbara) Tolliver, Larry (Linda) Tolliver, Silas (Betty)Tolliver all of Vicksburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A private service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home Saturday, May 16, 2020, at noon, with burial to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Friday, May 15, from 1-to-6 p.m., and on Saturday from 9-to-11:30 a.m. The family will receive visitors Friday from 4-to-5 p.m.
