Investigators of the Vicksburg Police Department, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, executed a search warrant on Bayou Boulevard Friday.
Inside the home, authorities discovered recovered approximately two pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine, more than 500 oxycodone pills and $880 in cash.
At that time, James Edward Jones, 45, was taken into custody and charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of marijuana with intent and one count of trafficking in a controlled substance, oxycodone.
Jones, who was out on parole with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, will be held without bond until his initial court appearance.
