Funeral services for Darrell Deshun Oliver are to be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with Rev Johnny Williams officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Darrell Oliver passed away Thursday, July 9, at River Region Medical Center following a lengthy illness.  He was 46.  He had attended Greater Grove St. M. B. Church.  

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Bobbie Jean Johnson Oliver Sr.; his brother, Terry G. Oliver; his sisters, Lavern G. Oliver and Tammy E. Oliver; his maternal grandparents, Purnell and Alice Johnson Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Blanchard and Georgia Oliver.

He is survived by his daughter, DeAngela D. Good of Denver, Colo.; his brothers, Allen Oliver and Howard Oliver Jr., both of Vicksburg; his two sisters, Beatrice G. Oliver and Lisa M. Oliver, both of Vicksburg; his fiance’, La Shonda Denise Jackson of Vicksburg; his godmother, Betty Davis; and the Johnson family.
