Elizabeth Ann (Triplett) Smith passed peacefully on Aug. 2, 2020, in Centennial, Colo. She was a native of Vicksburg.

Elizabeth graduated from Rosa Temple High School in 1964 where she excelled academically and was valedictorian of her graduating class. She then attended Hampton University where she graduated in 1968 with a B.S. degree in music education.

She also participated in both the college choir and the marching band.

She had a long career as a senior purchasing agent at Metrum Incorporated in Aurora, Colo.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Triplett; and her, son Andre’ Smith.

She is survived by her brother, William Triplett Jr. (Beverly); two nieces, Kimberly (Shawn) and Kyla (Keith); grand-niece, Kennedy; and grandson, Ryan DeLeavy; several cousins and a host of friends.
