After spike, four new COVID-19 cases reported in Warren County and one death

After setting a record for new COVID-19 cases Saturday with 56, four new cases were reported for Warren County Sunday with one new death according to information from the Mississippi State Department of Health.
The new number is a marked decline from the spike in cases reported Saturday. The Saturday numbers surpassed the previous record of 51 reported June 22.
The new report puts the number of cases in the county to 1,093 since March 29, and the number of deaths from 32 to 33.
Statewide, the MSDH recorded 527 new cases, raising the statewide total from 66,646 to 67,173. An additional 22 new deaths were reported in the state, bringing its total to 1,896 since March 11.
Yazoo County reported 2 new cases, raising its total number of cases to 831 with 12 deaths. Claiborne County reported 407 cases — an increase of 3 cases — and 13 deaths. There were no new deaths in Yazoo or Claiborne counties.
Sharkey County reported no new cases, leaving its total number of cases at 197 with five deaths. No new deaths were reported in Sharkey.
Issaquena County, which was the last county in the state to report a positive case, reported no new cases and no new deaths, leaving its total cases at 26 cases and one death overall.
