Her nursing career consisted of medical and surgical nursing at Vicksburg Hospital and outpatient pediatrics at Vicksburg Clinic.

Judy was a longtime member of Bowmar Baptist Church, now Crossway Church, and the “Heaven Bound” Sunday School Class. She enjoyed reading the Bible, and her faith was an important part of her life.

Judy cared deeply for her family and friends. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Until recently, she enjoyed working in her yard, planting flowers and feeding the many hummingbirds on her patio.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Kathy S. Huff of Pearl; son, Roger “Steve” Smith of Meadville; granddaughters Anna Huff Hederman (Will) of Borger, Texas; and Ashley Huff Sparks (Aaron) of Little Rock, Ark; three great-grandsons, Timothy and Anders Sparks and Beck Hederman; brothers, E.R. Bradshaw (Nancy) of Baker, La., Mack Bradshaw, of Bonham, Texas, and Fred Bradshaw (Linda) of China Grove, N.C.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Roger “Pem” Smith; and brother, Reese Bradshaw. She was also joyfully expecting a fourth great-grandson, brother to Beck.

The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage House, Encompass Health-Hospice, and her dedicated caregivers.
