The Vicksburg Post has just learned that Yolande Robbins, owner of Robbins Funeral Home, owner and curator of the Jacqueline House Museum, community historian and activist, as well as a community columnist for The Vicksburg Post, and so much more, has died.
The Post is currently working to gather information on what happened and get reaction from community leaders on Robbins’ passing.
In her role as a community columnist for The Post, Robbins has told the story — and shared the experiences — of so many people and we are heartbroken to hear of her death. Her last column appeared in the Wednesday, Aug. 19 edition of The Post.
