Crime reports: Queen Street construction site ransacked, tools stolen

A local job site on Queen Street was reportedly ransacked Thursday evening.
At 5:15 p.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Queen Street in reference to a theft.
The victim reported someone stole a power saw, a chop saw, an air compressor with two nail guns, two chandeliers, a ceiling fan, two extension cords and a weed eater.
The value of the missing items was reportedly $1,899.
In other reports:
• On Thursday, at 9 a.m., officers responded to a residence in the 3000 block of Washington Street in reference to a theft. The victim reported someone stole a Ruger LCP .380 pistol valued at $350 from inside the residence.
• On Thursday, at 11:40 a.m., officers responded to Medical Associates of Vicksburg, 2080 South Frontage Road, in reference to an auto burglary. The victim reported someone went into a 2008 Honda and took a wallet. The vehicle was unlocked.
• On Thursday, at 4:31 p.m., officers responded to a reported burglary in the 100 block of Athens Avenue. The resident reported someone broke into the home and took two Sony PlayStation 4s valued at $200 each, and two controllers valued at $15 each.
