Crime reports: Two cars, gun reported stolen

The Vicksburg Police Department has recently dealt with a number of auto-related crimes, including auto theft and burglary.

Sunday, at 1:30 p.m., officers responded to Carr Central Apartments on Cherry Street, in reference to the theft of a car. The victim reported someone stole her 1996 Acura 2.5 TL.

On Monday morning, at 7:19 a.m., officers responded to Lake Hill Drive in reference to another auto theft. The victim reported someone stole his 2006 GMC Sierra.

The vehicle was later recovered and returned.

Monday afternoon, at 4:24 p.m., a report was taken at the Vicksburg Police Department regarding an auto burglary that had taken place on Eastover Drive.

According to the victim, someone went into his 2017 Audi A4 and stole his Smith & Wesson Model 629 revolver.
