Crime reports: Traffic stop leads to felony arrest early Friday

A traffic stop along Lee Street early Friday has led to a felony charge for one Vicksburg man.
Just before 2 a.m. Friday, Lafane Mixon, 46, of Vicksburg was arrested during a traffic stop and charged with one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
Mixon is scheduled to appear before Judge Penny Lawson in Vicksburg Municipal Court later Friday.
In other reports:
• On Thursday, at 7:41 a.m., officers responded to the Carr Central Apartments, 1805 Cherry St., for an auto burglary. The victim reported someone entered her 2008 Dodge Charger, and stole a Visa credit card, which was used to purchase an online ticket to the Warren Central football game for $8.35.
• On Thursday, at 7:42 a.m., officers responded to the Carr Central Apartments, 1805 Cherry St., for an auto burglary. The victim reported someone broke the driver’s side front window on his 2008 GMC Sierra and took a Taurus 9MM from the center console.
• On Thursday, at 8:37 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 1300 block of Division Street in reference to an auto burglary. The victim reported someone went under the hood of her 2011 GMC Yukon and stole the fuses so that her vehicle could not start.
