The discovery of one stolen firearm has led to the arrest of two Vicksburg men.

Late Friday, an officer stopped a silver 2007 Nissan Altima on Indiana Avenue for driving without headlights. The vehicle was occupied by Cordell Flowers, 20, and Tyrese Craft, 20, both of Vicksburg.

As the officer approached the driver, he saw a MAC-11 handgun and an AK-47 rifle on the rear floorboard. In checking the firearms, it was discovered that the MAC-11 had been reported.

Both Flowers and Craft posted bonds and are no longer in custody.
