Crime reports: Officers respond to calls for stolen vehicle, theft at local hotel
Early Tuesday, officers responded to a home in the 3100 block of Washington Street in reference to a stolen vehicle.
The Vicksburg Police Department, in a release Wednesday, said the victim reported someone had stolen a 2015 Chrysler 200.
In another report, officers Tuesday responded to Days Inn on Warrenton Road in reference to a theft.
The victim told officers someone kicked in a room door and stole a Dewalt paint sprayer, two Magnavox paint sprayers, a Minolta hand sander and a Milwaukee reciprocating saw. Two other saws were also taken.
According to the department, the total value of the stolen equipment is estimated at $5,500.
