Vicksburg woman faces drug charge following Monday traffic stop

A Vicksburg woman has been arrested and charged with a drug felony following a traffic stop Monday afternoon.

Heather Charlebois, 39, of Vicksburg was arrested Monday at 12:41 p.m. after an officer with the Vicksburg Police Department stopped a vehicle in which she was a passenger. Charlebois was in possession of methamphetamine.

Charlebois was charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine

During her initial court appearance Monday, Judge Penny Lawson placed a $45,000 bond on Charlebois and bound her case over to the grand jury.
