Vicksburg native Tulio Figarola posted a winning time of 2 minutes, 28.31 seconds in the 11-12-year-olds’ 200 meter backstroke at the State Games of Mississippi. The time is a state record for the age group, and the 15th-fastest in USA Swimming history.
