Reagan Fleming, son of Beth and Trey Fleming of Vicksburg, was recently promoted meritoriously by Maj. Gen. Roger B. Turner Jr., Commander of the First Marine Division, Camp Pendleton, Calif. to the rank of Sgt. E-5.

He is assigned to the Headquarters Battery of the 11th Marine Regiment of the First Marine Division. Sgt. Fleming, who is completing his 4th year in the Marine Corps, is a 2013 graduate of Warren Central High School, attended Mississippi State University and is currently enrolled at Arizona State University working toward a software engineering degree.
