Vicksburg police respond to weekend calls of shots fired in Grove Street area

Vicksburg Police Department officers on Sunday afternoon responded to two calls of shots fired occurring almost an hour apart.

The first call came in at 3:48 p.m. and involved shots fired at the Grove Street Apartments, 2230 Grove St. The second call involved shots fired about 4:28 p.m. at the intersection of Monroe and Grove streets.
