Man wounded in shooting on Washington Street in Vicksburg

Vicksburg police and fire department paramedics are responding to a reported shooting in the 3000 block of Washington Street in which a man was wounded in the chest.

No further information is available at this time. This is a developing story.

UPDATE: The shooting victim was later identified by the Vicksburg Police Department as a 16-year-old boy.
