Vicksburg High track and field athlete Jelisa Tyler won the MHSAA Class 5A North State title in the shot put with a throw of 33 feet, 3 inches.

Tyler and a number of other Vicksburg High athletes will compete the Class 5A state meet Saturday at Pearl High School, beginning at 11 a.m.
