The Village of Satartia will be holding its annual Old Fashioned Christmas complete with a parade, live music and bonfire.

Satartia, Mississippi’s smallest municipality, boasts 64 villagers. It is located off Mississippi Highway 3 between Vicksburg and Yazoo City.

The parade starts at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8. It will cross over one of Mississippi’s oldest drawbridges on its route down Plum Street.

Food and drinks will be provided by Satartia Village Store and Green Ghost Tacos Food Truck.

Parade-goers and participants are invited to a bonfire after the parade, as Evan Brister performs at the Old Satartia Gin.
