$500,000 Awarded in FY22 Corridor Identification and Development

U.S. Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced the U. S. Department of Transportation has awarded $500,000 in FY22 Corridor Identification and Development grant funds to the Southern Rail Commission.

The proposed Corridor would connect Dallas to Meridian and plans to serve the following cities in Mississippi: Vicksburg and Jackson.

The proposed Corridor would provide new service on the existing alignment.
