Irene P. Maxey, a Vicksburg resident, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2023, in the Vicksburg Convalescent Home surrounded by family following a brief illness.  She was 92.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge.
