Cindy McCarley, director of the Good Shepherd Community Center, said as of Friday the group still has 50 Elves that need adoption.

The elves represent individuals and children in need of gifts for the holidays. Anyone interested in adopting an elf may call or come by the Community Center at 629 Cherry St.

The Center is open Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. All Elf gifts must be returned to the center no later than Dec. 19.
