VWSD Superintendent, James Price pushed for neighborhood schools. • More than 1,500 people turned out for the arrival of the Kansas City Southern holiday train.

Blues Diva Dorothy Moore was in town for a visit with the Vicksburg Blues Society and Michel’s Records. • Gov. Phil Bryant addressed the 110 members of the 19th AmeriCorps NCCC class to graduate at the Vicksburg-based campus.
