Carla Williams Chatman passed away on Dec. 14, 2023, in Spring, Texas.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 23, at the Vicksburg City Auditorium. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

On Friday, Dec. 22, the Vicksburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will conduct its Omega Omega Service from noon until 1 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home.

Public visitation will be held at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 22, from 1 until 5 p.m. At the family’s request, there will be no public viewing.

A private family hour will be held from 5 until 6 p.m.
