Mrs. Helen Mulloy retired from the Mississippi River Commission and Lower Mississippi Valley Division, Corps of Engineers.

The Mississippi River was filled with chunks of ice. • Clarissa Behr presented a concert of sacred music in the John O. Raworth Chapel of First Presbyterian Church.
