Bruce Allen Copes, formerly of Vicksburg, died peacefully after a short illness Jan. 1, 2024, in Safety Harbor, Florida.

Born in Vicksburg, Jan. 12, 1959, he lived and worked in Vicksburg for 4 decades.

In 2002, he relocated to Safety Harbor, Florida after marrying his best friend, Robin Harris Copes.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Connie; father, Leroy; and daughter Courtney.

He is survived by his wife Robin Harris Copes; children, Casey Copes, Logan Ungerer, and Ian Ungerer; grandchildren; Maddie, Marley, and Davis; brother Larry (Dianne); and sister Patti Gilmore.

During his lifetime he worked as an electrician and contractor and had a deep love for all things rodeo.

Although he did not want a formal celebration of his life, he would want his friends and family to raise a glass in his memory.
