The Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is looking to the public to help locate a registered sex offender who officials say has failed to maintain his required status, and a reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest.

Thursday afternoon, WCSO officials posted on social media saying anyone helping to locate Joseph Acuff may qualify to receive up to $2,500 for information leading to his arrest.

Officials said Acuff has an active warrant issued for his arrest after he failed to maintain his electronic monitor. WCSO is asking anyone with any information on Acuff’s whereabouts to contact WCSO Lt. Rollison at 601-636-1761, adding those who reach out may remain anonymous.
