Flashes win 2024 basketball debut against Indianola Academy

St. Aloysius’ boys’ basketball team got back on the court Friday night, got right back to winning.

Anthony McCloud scored a team-high 18 points to lead the Flashes to a 40-30 victory on the road against Indianola Academy.

Sadler Lambiotte had a good all-around game with five points, five rebounds, five steals and four assists for St. Al. Laken Bradley also scored five points, and Carter Henderson had four.

St. Al (8-8) pulled its record back to .500 by winning its first game of 2024. It will go on the road again Tuesday, to play at Providence Classical Academy in Bossier City, Louisiana.

In Friday’s junior high game, Indianola beat St. Al 33-31. Walt Andrews had 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals for the Flashes, while Keller Bradley just missed a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Dru Gleese also scored eight points for St. Al.
